Despite being one of the strongest Avenger in the MCU, Hulk was defeated by Iron Man in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The fight between Hulk and Iron Man in Avengers 2 shows that Scarlet Witch’s power has influenced Hulk’s spirit.
Thanks to the change in Hulk’s strength and body size, Iron Man was able to find weaknesses and physically control Hulk in a completely different way than what a conventional armor could.
As the character referred to as `the strongest one there is` in Marvel Comics, Hulk’s defeat against Iron Man can be said to be a surprising ending.
However, in this battle Hulk could not overcome his opponent not because of his inferior strength, but the result of this battle lay in the moment the punch was thrown at the right time, which determined the winner.
