(Dan Tri) – Mr. Vu Duc Tung – Acting Director of the National Cinema Center – confirmed with Dan Tri reporter that the Center’s website crashed because of the number of visitors buying tickets to watch the movie `Peach, Pho and Piano`.

Talking to Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Vu Duc Tung – Acting Director of the National Cinema Center – said that compared to actress Hong Ha, in recent days, the movies Dao, Pho and Piano have had an increase in viewership.
`The theater’s official website crashed in the past few days because the number of viewers accessing to buy tickets to see Dao, Pho and Piano increased rapidly and strongly. The technical and information technology department of the National Cinema Center worked
Mr. Vu Duc Tung called the above `an unprecedented phenomenon` for a state-owned film like Dao, Pho and Piano.
Mr. Tung also said that if the state-owned film has quality, the script matches the trend, and the content touches the viewers’ emotions, it is completely capable of drawing audiences to theaters.
Mr. Tung added that as of 7pm on February 18, the theater had welcomed 1,884 audiences to watch Peaches, Pho and Piano with a revenue of more than 300 million.
`Today, the center has 11 screenings for Dao, Pho and Piano. By February 19 and February 20, we will increase to 15 screenings. With state-owned films, theaters will show until the film has no audience left.

Talking about the balance between two hot movies at the present time (Mai – a private movie and Dao, pho and piano – a state movie), the representative of the National Cinema Center said that it should not be compared because each movie has its own characteristics.
`Tran Thanh’s movie Mai has had a large audience since the 2nd day of Tet until now. From 20 screenings, the theater had to increase to 30, currently 50 screenings but still cannot meet the needs of the audience,` Mr. Tung said.
In recent days, Dao, Pho and Piano have been continuously shared and discussed on social networks even though the film was initially not promoted much, and was even quite quiet among a series of Vietnamese films released at the same time.
Many viewers said they wanted to watch the movie but all screenings of Dao, Pho and Piano were sold out.
