Specifically, on May 14, Ngoc Khanh Cinema will premiere the film Lotus by director Tran Dac in collaboration with Algerian director Rachid Diguer.

The film revolves around the touching love story between a young expeditionary soldier of Algerian nationality and a Northern girl in the 50s of the last century.

This is not only a story about a beautiful and romantic cross-border love, but the film also clearly shows the friendship and solidarity of the struggle between the two peoples of Vietnam and Algeria.

On May 15, the movie Dien Bien Memories continued to be screened for free, serving audiences at Ngoc Khanh theater.

The film Dien Bien Memories directed by Do Minh Tuan was produced by Vietnam Feature Film Studio in 2004 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory.

The content tells the story of what happened during the Dien Bien Phu campaign in 1954. National guard Bao and nurse May escorted a French prisoner named Becna to the rear.

During this journey, love blossomed between Bao and May.

Considered a good film about the Dien Bien Phu campaign, Dien Bien Memories is attractive because of the art of filmmaking that intertwines memory and present, a skillful combination of reminiscences and future wishes.

In particular, the film also shows the desire for peace through the marriage proposal danceĀ or the image of French soldiers turning into white doves in Bernard’s imagination.
