(Dan Tri) – Coach Ten Hag said that Man Utd played better than Chelsea and deserved to win, but his team lost because of individual errors and that was difficult to accept.

According to post-match statistics, Chelsea controlled the ball 56% of the time and had 28 shots, while Man Utd had 19 shots with 46% of possession.

The defeat against Chelsea was the second consecutive match in just a few days when Man Utd dropped points in extra time.

`In 5 days, we lost 5 points. That is unacceptable. We need to have high standards if we want to compete for the Champions League,` Ten Hag added.

Speaking to TNT Sport, the Dutch coach admitted that his team started `poorly`, but played better as the match progressed.
