Talking to Dan Tri reporters on the evening of April 15, a representative of VieON said that this unit always prioritizes content control, ensuring that cultural products comply with legal regulations.
`VieON also does not transmit false information, distort history or violate Vietnam’s island sovereignty. Immediately after temporarily stopping broadcasting the film, VieON decided to refuse to purchase this content,` VieON said.

According to VieON, temporarily removing Love 199 – Want to love forever and refusing to buy this content is a testament to VieON’s commitment to not accepting products that violate the principle of national sovereignty.
VieON representative also said that this unit only received individual episodes and not the entire movie.
`At that time, VieON also asked the partner to transfer the original to see if the information online was accurate. If there was a cow tongue line, the film would be immediately taken down,` this representative informed.
The movie Love 199 – Want to love forever was officially broadcast from January 20 on Youku and Jiangsu Television.
However, since the end of January, a scene in episode 9 of the film is suspected of containing an image of an illegal cow tongue line that was circulated in several film groups.

Responding to this issue from voters, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung said that the appraisal and licensing of foreign films shown online on social networking platforms is clearly regulated in Clause 2, Article 21.
`Before disseminating films on cyberspace, we must ensure conditions for classifying films according to Government regulations and be responsible before the law for the content and results of film classification.
In case the conditions for classifying films are not met, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism or an agency authorized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is requested to classify films that have not been granted a Film Classification License or Broadcast Decision according to the regulations.
Article 12 of Decree No. 131/2022 also clearly states that subjects disseminating films in cyberspace can only disseminate films with a Film Classification License or Broadcast Decision in accordance with the provisions of law.
For films that have not been granted a Film Classification License, they must be classified according to regulations or must be classified by qualified subjects themselves.
The subject of film dissemination must notify the list of films to be disseminated and the results of film classification to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism before disseminating films in cyberspace.
`According to the provisions of Clause 5, Article 21 of the Law on Cinema, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organizes human resources and technical means to check film content, classify and display classification results of popular films on air.
The Ministry also coordinates with the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Public Security and relevant state management agencies to implement measures to prevent and handle violations of the law.
